Hi, Mama! Welcome to The Millennial Mama 💕
I'm so glad you're here!
I'm Rachel: a wife, mom, and full-time work-from-home nurse who is learning how to balance all the beautiful, messy, and sometimes overwhelming parts of everyday life. I've been a nurse for 13 years, married to my wonderful husband for 13 years, and am the proud mama of a sweet 9-year-old daughter who keeps life busy, interesting, and full of love.
For the past two years, I've been navigating a new chapter of working from home. While I love the flexibility it brings, I've also discovered that working from home doesn't necessarily mean life gets any less hectic! Between my nursing career, family responsibilities, meal planning, keeping the house organized, and helping my third grader stay on top of homework, there is always something on my to-do list.
And if I'm being honest, figuring out how to juggle it all can be a challenge!
That's exactly why I created The Millennial Mama.
A Little Bit of Real Life, A Little Bit of Organization, and a Whole Lot of Grace
This blog is a space where we can figure things out together. I'm here to share what I'm learning as I work toward a more organized home, easier meal prep routines, smoother school nights, and a little more breathing room in our busy family life.
We'll talk about practical ways to make everyday life easier, from planning family meals and organizing our homes to managing the never-ending mental checklist that comes with motherhood. I'll share ideas, routines, lessons learned, and the occasional reminder that it's okay when things don't go according to plan.
I'm not here because I have it all figured out. I'm here because I'm learning, growing, and finding better ways to make life work for my family, one day at a time.
We're in This Together
Motherhood is rewarding, but it can also be exhausting. Some days, dinner is planned, homework is finished, and the house feels manageable. Other days, we're just doing our best to get everyone fed, loved, and into bed at a reasonable hour!
Both kinds of days count.
My hope is that The Millennial Mama becomes a welcoming little corner of the internet where you can find practical ideas, encouragement, and the reassurance that you aren't alone in trying to balance it all.
Whether you're a working mom, a work-from-home mama, a nurse, a wife, or simply someone trying to make everyday life feel a little less overwhelming, there's a place for you here.
So grab your favorite cup of coffee, get comfortable, and let's figure this mom-life thing out together. We'll celebrate the small wins, learn from the hard days, and give ourselves a little more grace along the way.
Because we don't have to be perfect mamas to be amazing ones. ❤️
Welcome to The Millennial Mama. I'm so happy you're here!
